Honoring Those We Love

The loss of a loved one is difficult, but often family members find comfort by making a gift in memory or in honor of a friend or loved one whose life has been touched by Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region. It is often a thoughtful remembrance in place of funeral flowers.

When your gift is received, we will send you a letter of acknowledgment for your tax records. We will also send a special notification letter to the person(s) you are honoring or their family.

Your memorial gifts support our mission to provide quality, compassionate care and support services to individuals and families facing life-threatening illnesses, enabling them to experience the end of life with grace and dignity.

I would like to make a gift in honor of or in memory of someone.

Memorial Bricks

Many families and friends choose to designate memorials to one of our hospice houses in Huntersville or south Charlotte. Through our Building Bricks program, a family who designates memorial gifts to one of our hospice houses may have one engraved brick installed in the memorial walkway at Levine & Dickson Hospice House - Huntersville or in the garden path at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Southminster when memorial donations equal $500 or more.

Memorial bricks may be purchased at any time with a $500 donation. Each spring and fall, bricks are dedicated with a ceremony of remembrance.  Bricks are an enduring, visible way to honor and memorialize loved ones and to support compassionate, expert hospice care. Click here to download the form that will allow you to purchase your brick and honor your loved one.

In addition to engraved bricks, there are other memorial gift opportunities at each hospice house location. Please contact Rachel Smith at 704.335.4325 to learn more.
