Mecklenburg End of Life Care Coalition
The Mecklenburg End of Life Care Coalition was formed in June, 2001 and represents organizations with a high regard for insuring quality end-of-life care for all people. Our mission is to expand and advance the education and understanding of end-of life-care as well as end-of-life planning among those in the healthcare professions and the community at large.
The goals of the Mecklenburg End of Life Care Coalition are to:
- advocate and promote end-of-life educational activities.
- act as a central focal point for information-sharing among those involved in end-of-life education.
- network with other organizations involved in end-of-life issues; sharing ideas, resources and services and collaborative opportunities while avoiding duplication of efforts.
