At HPCCR, we offer a flexible benefits plan for our employees. The cafeteria-style plan allows each person to customize benefits according to family priorities.

Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region offers a comprehensive BCBS Plan, including prescription drug coverage, mental health, and substance abuse services.

Both dental high and dental low plans are offered through Met Life.

Holidays and Paid Time Off (PTO)

Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region offers a generous PTO plan for employees that work 20 hours or more per week. We also allow time off for major holidays.

403 (b) Plan

Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region offers all employees a 403(b) plan called the Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region Savings and Incentive Partnership Plan.

Cancer Supplemental Insurance

Under the Cancer Supplemental Insurance plan, you are provided cash benefits regardless of any other medical coverage you may have and you decide how to use the money. This supplemental coverage helps pay for the indirect costs of medical treatment such as the loss of wages, transportation and lodging for non-local treatments, and experimental treatments.

Employee Assistance Program

Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region provides employees and all household members an employee assistance program. This is a free and confidential service. This service may be used for stress management, marital/family issues, financial concerns, alcohol and/or drug abuse, job/career issues, communication skills, parenting, legal issues, personal/emotional concerns, grief and loss, etc.

Flexible Spending Accounts

To help reduce the health and dental cost to employees, Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region sponsors a Section 125 Plan. This plan allows employees to use pre-tax dollars to pay for medical and dental expenses (premiums, co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles) as well as child care expenses.

Short Term Disability

This is a free benefit, paid for by HPCCR.

Long Term Disability

HPCCR employees may purchase this optional protection.

Life and Accidental Death Coverage

HPCCR offers a free $25,000 policy with an option to purchase additional coverage.

Voluntary Group Accident Insurance

HPCCR employees may purchase additional accidental insurance at a group rate.
