
ELIZABETH AGIRI, NP-C, ACHPN
Elizabeth has been a nurse practitioner for 5 years. She began her nursing career in 2007 as a nursing assistant. She graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2010. In 2016, she obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University with a focus on adult and geriatric population. She has worked as a nurse practitioner in geriatrics, primary, and acute care settings and now currently works as a Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. She is certified as an advanced hospice and palliative care nurse. Elizabeth truly enjoys helping patients and their families with the advance care planning process and chronic disease management.
KRISTEN BARNETTE, NP
Kristen attended Winston Salem State University in Winston Salem, NC where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing and minor in Psychology in 2007. She began her career as a Neurosurgical nurse at Carolinas Medical Center. While working at John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD, she was immersed into education, holistic interventions, and the palliative approach to medicine. She completed her Master of Science in Advanced Practice Nursing from the University of Cincinnati in 2013. She is a Board Certified Adult Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. As a member of The Junior Urban League of the Central Carolinas, she strives to continually serve her community. She has a wonderful family and religious foundation that continually supports and encourages her gift to give of herself honestly, wholeheartedly, and fervently.
ROSEANN BARRERA, FNP
Roseann is a board-certified family health nurse practitioner since 2019. She received her BSN from Brookline College in Pheonix, Arizona and MSN from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Roseann has specialized in the care of oncology patients for the past 16 years, most recently in transplant and cellular therapy for malignant hematology for the past 3 years. Roseann has a passion for patient education, symptom management & comfort care, and considers it a privilege to join the hospice team. Roseann resides in Fort Mill, SC with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, crocheting and reading.
LYNN BARRINGER, AGCNS, AGPCNP-BC
Lynn is a nurse practitioner that is adult and geriatric focused. She is an adult/geriatric clinical nurse specialist and board certified in adult and geriatric primary care. She received her BSN from Cabarrus College of Health Sciences (Summa Cum Laude) and MSN from Duke University School of Nursing. Her RN experience before becoming a nurse practitioner included Emergency Care (Certified Emergency Nurse for 10 years) and perioperative surgical nursing. By being part of the patients' healthcare journey Lynn hopes to make a difference in improving their quality of life by listening to each person and appreciating their own uniqueness.
LIZZIE CAMPBELL, DNP, AGNP-C, AGACNP-BC, BMTCN
Lizzie is a nurse practitioner with 11 years of healthcare experience. She received her bachelors from NC State University, initial RN licensure and MSN at East Carolina University, graduate certificate in acute care from UNC Charlotte, and DNP from UNC Wilmington. Since 2016, Lizzie has worked with oncology patients and developed an interest in the provision of earlier palliative care to this population. To that end, she joined HPCCR in 2022. She is a Charlotte, NC native and is excited to serve to her community in this important and purposeful work. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
JENNIFER ELEEY, FNP-BC
Jennifer became board-certified in 2019 and has previous experience in the long-term care setting with a primary focus on geriatrics and chronic disease management. She earned her BSN from East Carolina University and her MSN from UNC Wilmington. As a RN, she had extensive experience in the critical care setting which first sparked her love and appreciation for hospice and palliative medicine. During her years serving those in skilled nursing and assisted living settings, she further developed a passion for providing care focused on symptom management. She strives to use a holistic foundation in providing care for her patients and their families. She lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband, daughter, and two French bulldogs.
KATIE BETH ROUX, NP

KELLI HARRIS, ANP-C
Kelli is an adult nurse practitioner board certified in taking care of ages 13 to geriatrics. She received her BSN and MSN from UNC Charlotte and she is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Kelli has been a RN for over 20 years and NP for over 16 years. Her previous experience as a RN and NP includes internal medicine, family practice, hospital, long term care, assisted living care, home health care, wound care, pain management, and previous hospice and palliative care at HPCCR. She is a native of the Lake Norman area and is proud to serve communities at HPCCR.
ALISON HARRISON, DNP, NP-C, ACHPN
Alison is a board-certified adult and geriatric nurse practitioner who has specialized in hospice and palliative medicine since 2011. She received her BSN from the University of Iowa College of Nursing and her MSN and DNP from Duke University School of Nursing. Prior to specializing in hospice and palliative care, Alison’s nursing experience was in intensive care and geriatric primary care. She is an active member of the Hospice and Palliative Nurses Association as well as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Alison is very passionate about providing evidence-based care to her patients, and working with patients and families to ensure that they feel supported and valued. Outside of work, she loves to run, play the piano, and spend time with her husband and four children.
TIFFANY JACKSON, DNP, NP-C, ACHPN (PRN)
Tiffany is a nurse practitioner board certified in family health, hospice, and palliative care. She received her BSN from Waynesburg College, MSN from Duquesne University (Pittsburgh), and DNP from Chatham University (Pittsburgh). Tiffany has specialized in hospice and palliative medicine since 2012. Her RN experience previous to becoming a nurse practitioner includes critical care, surgical trauma, and flight nursing. She is a member of the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses Association and American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also faculty at Chamberlain College of Nursing where she has been a professor in the family nurse practitioner program since 2015. She resides in Clover, SC.

Cynthia has worked in Hospice care for 15 years. She attended Winston-Salem State University where she earned her MSN. She has a FNP certification and is board certified. She resides in Mooresville, NC and is married with two children.

Staci has been in nursing for almost thirty years, sixteen of which have been in hospice and palliative care. Over the past eight years, she has worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the primary care and hospice care settings. She is certified as an Advanced Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. She resides in Hickory, NC.
KARIN REED, DNP, NP-C
Karin is a family nurse practitioner who currently serves palliative medicine patients in the Charlotte area. Formerly an ICU and critical care nurse, Karin went on to obtain both her Masters and Doctorate degrees in nursing from Frontier Nursing University. The focus of her doctoral capstone project was palliative medicine in the fragility fracture population. In her free time, Karin enjoys spending time with her family, reading, and writing.
MCKENZIE PHILLIPS, FNP-C
McKenzie received her BSN and MSN-FNP from Gardner-Webb University. Her background is in long term care where she worked very closely with palliative and hospice care services, for which she is very passionate about. McKenzie’s RN experience before becoming a Nurse Practitioner includes critical care, orthopedics, pre-operative and post-operative care. She is a member of HPNA and resides in Bessemer City, NC.

Angela is a nurse practitioner, board certified in family health. She received her MSN and FNP from Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina where she conducted research on the barriers to early referrals to Palliative Care in the Primary Care setting. Her nursing experience before becoming a nurse practitioner includes emergency/trauma nursing and home-based case management. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a native of Gaston County and is proud to serve its residents. She has a passion for helping others and providing thorough and compassionate care. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, running, and being out in nature. She resides in Belmont, NC with her husband and children.

Stephanie has worked with HPCCR for the past 5 years with previous experience providing geriatric primary care. A Charlotte native, she returned to the area after completing her Master’s Degree in Nursing from East Carolina University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, two children, and their two dogs, Maggie and Chico. Stephanie has a passion for educating patients and their families on disease management and end of life care.

Christina began her nursing career in 2002 as a nurse assistant while attending nursing school. After receiving her RN degree from the University of Central Florida, she worked the following 10 years in hospital critical care units while simultaneously obtaining her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner with East Carolina University. Christina’s emphasis has been in long term care facilities providing primary care to adult and geriatric patients with a focus on chronic disease management and advanced care planning. Now at HPCCR, she can focus on her passion of chronic disease education/management while helping her patients have their best possible quality of life. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors with her dog and spending quality time with family and friends.
