DR. BRIDGET HILLER
Dr. Hiller received her medical degree from State University of New York Brooklyn. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital 2005 and went on to serve as Chief Resident. She completed her fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2012, became fellow for the Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine in 2019, and also passed her Hospice Medical Director certification in 2019. In 2021 she was chosen as one of 50 women physicians as a Woman’s Wellness through Equity and Leadership (WEL) Scholar from the American Hospital Association.
Dr. Hiller’s experience and background in improving access to care for patients living with serious and life-threatening illnesses will be of vital importance as we continue to provide excellence in care to the communities we serve.
dr. sara n. badano
Dr. Badano received her B.S. in Biology from Liceo Logosofico and obtained her medical degree from Facultad de Medicina – Universidad de la Republica Oriental del Uruguay. She completed her Internal medicine residency at the University of Illinois – Chicago and is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Badano joined HPCCR in 2021.

dr. john (chip) clark, jr.
Dr. Clark earned his B.S. from Davidson College and his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. He completed his internship at Vanderbilt University Hospital and his residencies at Vanderbilt University Hospital and Cincinnati General Hospital. He is board certified in Internal and Emergency Medicine and has most recently worked as an attending physician in the Presbyterian Hospital Emergency Room in Charlotte. Dr. Clark joined HPCCR in 2015.
dr. cuong (john) doan
Dr. Doan earned his B.S. from Georgia Institute of Technology and his M.D. from the Medical College of Georgia (now Augusta University). He completed his internship and residency with Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia. He is board certified in Family Practice and has most recently worked as an staff physician with AFC Urgent Care in Mooresville, NC. Dr. Doan joined HPCCR in 2022.
dr. christen (chrissie) fisher
Dr. Fisher earned her B.S. in Biology from Wake Forest University and her M.D. from Wake Forest School of Medicine. She completed her residency in the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center Emergency Medicine Residency training program as an intern and is board certified in Emergency Medicine. She joined HPCCR in 2016.
dr. dana giarrizzi
Dr. Giarrizzi earned a B.S. from Juniata College, PA, and graduated medical school from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM), where she also completed both her internship and residency. She is board certified in Internal Medicine. Dr. Giarrizzi received her Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She previously worked in the Hospitalist environment where she held both Regional and Site Medical Director positions. Dr. Giarrizzi also has extensive experience in the Telemedicine field and was Chief Operating Officer at Eagle Hospital Physicians Telemedicine Division. HPCCR welcomed Dr. Giarrizzi in 2023.

dr. mrinalini joshi
Dr. Joshi earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from Grant Medical College, University of Mumbai in India. She completed her internship in India and her residency at the University of Iowa. She is certified in both Hospice and Palliative Medicine and Family Medicine.
dr. patricia sadler
Dr. Sadler earned her B.A. from Vanderbilt University in Nashville and her M.D. at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she also completed her residency. She is certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice & Palliative Medicine. She has served as the medical director of Hospice of Laurens County since 1988.
dr. john peter (j.p) mcbryde
Dr. McBryde graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Davison College in 1986 and a Medical Degree from Medical University of South Carolina in 1992. He then completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL and a fellowship in sports medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He is board certified by ABEM in both. Dr. McBryde is from Charlotte and was a faculty member with the Department of Emergency Medicine at CMC for many years. He returned to the Charlotte region in late 2021 after 6 years with Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. In November 2022, Dr. McBryde joined HPCCR.
dr. thomas trautmann
Dr. Trautmann earned his B.A. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH and his M.D. at University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Michigan Medical Center and his residency in Radiation Oncology at Wake Forest University. Dr. Trautmann has been with HPCCR since 2017.
