National Nurses Week - A Special Message from the COO

This week marks the beginning of National Nurses Week, which begins each year starting May 6th and ends on May 12th; Florence Nightengale’s birthday.

On behalf of the entire team at Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region (HPCCR), we want to thank and appreciate all of our talented nurses – both those on the front line and those in administrative roles.

When we think of all the changes HPCCR has navigated since Nurses Week 2020 – COVID, a conversion to HCHB, the reopening of Southminster just to name a few big ones – we are so very grateful to our nurses in helping us continue to deliver expert, compassionate care for our patients, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year!

You are, and continue to be, essential to our success moving forward! So our compliments and sincere appreciation to our incredible HPCCR Nurses – thank you again and well wishes during National Nurse’s Week!
